CRANBERRIES – START DRINKING THEM

CRANBERRIES – START DRINKING THEM

Today we wanted to surprise you with some new information you may not already know about one of the fruits you really only get to see once a year around the fall and winter season. Cranberries are usually thought to just be a berry you boil down and add sugar to, creating a condiment you put on your Thanksgiving turkey. We wanted to let you know that this is no longer the case. You can make pretty darn good drinks and smoothies with this powerful berry that will help your body.

Recent research has shown that cranberries, much like blue berries, are very high in anti-oxidents (anti-aging properties) that will keep you looking younger longer. Not to mention, we are talking about a berry that has been used by the Native Americans and Pilgrims of the New World to help prevent infections. They would grind up the berries and use them as a paste. Cranberries are also packed with Vitamin C, so add some cranberries into your diet and you will definitely be ready for any colds that may be floating around this season. The last important property cranberries are said to have is to prevent, fight and help treat UTIs. What are you waiting for? Put on your Gel-V, head to the gym, and come home and make yourself a healing cranberry cleanser.
