THE PRACTICE OF WEARING A CORSET OR BELT TO CREATE A SMALLER WAIST HAS BEEN POPULARSINCE THE VICTORIAN ERA.
The hourglass shape has been desirable for a very long time, and the method by which womenobtain this shape hasn’t changed much: we still use waist training!
I get asked a lot of questions about waist trainingand today I want to address the most frequently asked ones!
^ This is me in the V-Belt!
WHAT IS WAIST TRAINING?
Waist training involves wearing a laced corset or special belt. The goal is to train the waist to fit into smaller garments and remain slim when the belt isnt being worn.
When you’re just getting started with waist training, you shouldonly wear it for a few hours a day. Over time, the waist trainer can beworn for longer periods.
You can also get a tighter belt after a while, even if you’re not trying to lose weight, because you will get usedto waisttraining. It’s similar to working you where you have to start off easier and then gradually work your way up to harder workouts.
HOW DOES WAIST TRAINING WORK?
I love my V-Belt!
YES! Wearing a restrictive garment like the V-Belt speeds upfat burning around your midsection.Changes such as the stretching of muscles, the compression of ribs and shrinking of the stomach are all part of the process.
If you want to lose weight, an additional benefit is that the restriction of a V-Beltmakes it hard to eat more than a small portion of food in one sitting!
IS THE CHANGE PERMANENT?
You may see some of the changes stick around for a while after you stop waist training, but for the most part you need to keep up with it.
Think of waist training like you think about a healthy diet or exercise routine. When you stop, you no longer get to reap the rewards!
DO I NEED TO EXERCISE TOO?
Waist training shouldnt be considered a substitute for healthy habits. A combination of a healthy diet and regular exercise along with waist training is the only way to maintain a slim waist for life.
Here’s one of my customers who is doing it right!
Many of my customers see results even without exercising or changing their diet, but I really recommend the combination of all three to live your healthiest life. Trust me, I practice what I preach, and when I don’t workout or eat right for a couple of days I look the same, but I don’t feelas good.

Healthy eating and exercise combined with the V-Belt is the best route towards body confidence!
